Scientific Name: Potamogeton crispus

Distinguishing Characteristics:

•2 leaf forms; subsurface leaves strap-like with straight margins; surface leaves are slightly broader with wavy margins.

•Stems often have a zig-zag appearance and can be branching.

•Growth habit similar to P. diversifolius.
