Lower Pool Park
Location: From City of Demopolis: From intersection of Hwy 80 E/W and Hwy 43S, Take Hwy 80W travelling west through City of Demopolis. You will pass Hwy 43N and continue approx 1.1 miles towards end of town (see Walmart, shopping/restaurants at left & right). At stoplight, turn right onto Maria Avenue and follow 1.0 mile through residential area bearing left at sign which instructs driver to "Foscue Creek Park" and "Lower Pool Park" areas. Continue an additional 1.1 miles crossing railroad tracks and you see Foscue Creek Park entrance to your right. Passing the entrance to "Foscue Creek Park", travel another 0.5 miles and bear left again at split in road where sign instructs you toward "Lower Pool Park". Here the paved road turns to dirt and follow this portion of road 0.9 miles to paved road at right. This is the Lower Pool Park entrance. Turning right, continue 0.1 miles to boat access area on your 1st left turn toward boat ramp facilities. A fee is charged.
