First Day's Weigh-in at Lanark

On the first day, the top team had over 15 pounds for the seven fish limit, over a two pound average.

Anglers weighed in a large number of crappie in this March 2010 tournament.

The event was hosted by the City of Millbrook at the Alabama Wildlife Federation's Lanark facility.

This black crappie weighed 2.40 pounds.

The event had a good crowd looking to see some of the good crappie at Jones Bluff Reservoir.

A release boat returned fish to the Alabama River.

Bass Pro Shops was one of the sponsors, and a store is located across Interstate 65 from Lanark.

This angler had seven crappie that weighed over 12-pounds. He shows a nice black crappie on the left and a white crappie on our right.
