Flyfishing Class Offered for Women

Ladies wishing to learn how to flyfish are invited to attend a Saturday, May 1 event at the north Auburn fisheries ponds. The event is a cooperative project between the Alabama Department of Conservation’s STEP OUTSIDE program and the Auburn Fisheries Department. It will begin at 1 p.m. and last through supper.

Instructors will teach casting techniques at the Auburn ponds, which are stocked with bass and bluegill. All equipment will be furnished.
