Emergency Amendment to Regulate Conduct on Wildlife Management Areas

LEGAL NOTICE

An emergency amendment to Rule 220-2-.55-.127ER “Wildlife Management Areas, Community Hunting Areas, and Refuges of Alabama” was adopted on August 17, 2004, by the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to address an immediate danger to the public safety and welfare with regard to the regulation of conduct and activities at such areas in Alabama.

Because various hunting seasons are opening soon on the management areas across the state, these regulations are necessary to control the activities on the areas and to protect the general public. The amendment was signed by M. Barnett Lawley, Commissioner of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
