Spring 2012 Alabama Becoming an Outdoors-Woman

A special thank you to Les Letzinger and Tom Reburn who volunteered to teach the class.

First the ladies learn to rig their rod.	Then Tom Reburn, FFF Certified Master Casting Instructor, shows them how to cast a fly rod.

Fly casters must learn to accelerate the fly rod and stop the fly rod.	After learning how to fly cast, participants get a chance to fly fish in a pond.
Encouragement and instruction are provided.	Catching comes after practice.
Jerry Moss, Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division employee, ties on a popping bug.	Another angler lands a bluegill on a fly.
