Wetumpka Junior High students seine ponds at the Alabama Wildlife Federation's Lanark.

 
This student shows good seining form by keeping the lead line down and forward of the float line.

 
This student shows the colors of a green sunfish.

 
Several three-inch green sunfish are collected by seiningl; this indicated the pond was not in balance due to the lack of bass reproduction and bluegill reproduction.

Students seine with and without the use of waders to check pond balance. Small largemouth bass and bluegill in this pond indicated it was balanced.
