TANNEHILL LAND & RIDGES TRACT in Jefferson and Bibb County consists of 553 acres adjacent to Tannehill Ironworks Historic State Park. The tract is comprised of rolling hills and wooded terrain, hosting a variety of habitats bordering the Shades Creek, a primary tributary to the Cahaba River. The tract is cooperatively managed with the Tannehill Ironworks Historic State Park. The purchase of this tract included a charitable donation of the tract’s value on the part of the seller.
